Since 2001, VVT Amplifiers of Waldorf, MD, has been on the same quest as most of our clients…the quest for quality tone. Tone is that subjective, magical, mystical, ear pleasing quality of music that defies definition. We know it when we hear it but we can’t describe it. VVT's hunt began in the basement of amp builder and designer, James Hill. Their humble beginnings had them designing on paper and prototyping in cake pans. Fundamentally, they knew that going back to the basics was the best place to start. VVT imagined an amplifier free of excessive or unnecessary wiring, an amplifier that made the closest possible connection from tube to speaker.
